THÔNG BÁO: KẺ GIAN DÙNG EMAIL CỦA CÁC GIÁO SĨ VÀ TU SĨ ĐỂ LÀM TIỀN

Cách đây khoảng 1 năm, một kẻ gian từ nước Anh đã dùng email của một vị linh mục ở Roma, nước Ý để gửi cho nhìều người đòi xin $3000.00 USD. Vị linh mục đã biết được vì có nhiều người gọi điện thoại hỏi thăm. Ngài vội vàng đổi địa chỉ email.

Ngày 17/9/2009 lại có một kẻ gian cũng từ nước Anh gửi thư cho tất cả những ai có liên lạc với Sr. Christine Mỹ Hạnh để xin $3,000 USD.

Nhận được thư này, bản thân chúng tôi không tin vì đã biết tình trạng của vị linh mục đã từng bị mạo danh. Ngay sau đó, Sr. Mỹ Hạnh gọi điện thoại để báo động cho chúng tôi vì sự mạo danh ấy. Hôm nay, một đọc giả cũng nhận được thư giả mạo và hỏi chúng tôi về tình trạng thực hư của lá thư e-mail.

Xin quý vị cẩn thận vì kẻ gian có thể dùng chính email của quý vị mà gửi cho những người thân quen của quý vị để làm tiền. Đây là nội dung lá thư giả mạo ấy:

Hello
I am in hurry writing you this short message and I am sorry I didn't inform you about my traveling. I had traveled to London yesterday to visit a new Researchers' Complex in London, Imperial College London, Gallery Section, (40 Manchester Street London W1U 7LL), England,It has been a very sad and bad moment for me, the present condition am in right now is so hard for me to explain. I am really stranded in England because I forgot my little bag in the Taxi where my money, passport and some valuable documents were kept on my way to the Hotel am staying, I am facing a hard time here because i have no money on me and i don't know what to do or were to go to right now. i now owe the hotel some money for my stay and they want me to pay the bill soon or they will have get me out immediately, I need this help from you urgently because i need to pay the hotel bill i owe and get a new ticket back home. So please can you help me with a sum of  $3000 to sort out my problems here.

I am sending you this email from the hotel receptionist computer right now because i don't have access to phone and don't have money to call international right now, I will appreciate what so ever you can afford to send me for now and I promise to pay back your money as soon as i return home.i will be waiting to hear from you so i can tell you on how to send the money down here so i can be home immediately.
